Quick answer
For decorating laptops and notebooks with transparent designs, choose the Bandai Sun Star Tamagotchi Big Clear Sticker B. If you prefer writing notes with a peek of cute characters, go for the Square Memo A. For journaling and gift wrapping, the Masking Tape C offers four style options.
Sticker vs. memo vs. tape: what each does best
Each product serves a different purpose. The Big Clear Sticker B is a die-cut transparent vinyl sticker set—great for surfaces like laptops, phone cases, and notebooks where you want the background to show through. The Square Memo A is a paper memo pad with a window cutout that reveals the design inside each pad, ideal for quick notes with a decorative touch. The Masking Tape C is a 15mm wide paper tape that works well for journaling, scrapbooking, and gift wrapping because it tears easily and can be written on.
What the catalog doesn't tell you
All three items are 100% authentic Bandai Sun Star products, but they target different age groups—the sticker and memo are recommended for ages 15 and up. The sticker is made of PVC, which is durable but not repositionable once pressed down. The memo pad uses paper, so it's best for dry environments. The masking tape is also paper-based and can be removed from most surfaces without leaving residue, but it may not stick well to textured walls.
How to choose
- You want to decorate devices or notebooks: Choose the Big Clear Sticker B. The transparent PVC material lets the surface color show through, and the die-cut shapes follow the character outlines. Stick to smooth, clean surfaces for best adhesion.
- You need a desk notepad with character: Choose the Square Memo A. The window cutout adds a visual surprise, and the small 3.2-inch size fits on a desk without taking much space.
- You want a versatile tape for journaling or wrapping: Choose the Masking Tape C. The 15mm width and 5m length give you enough tape for multiple projects, and the paper material is easy to tear and write on. Test on a corner first if applying to painted walls or delicate paper.
